# TeslaSend > TeslaSend is a free web app that sends any web link from your phone to your Tesla's built-in browser in seconds. No app to install, no account, no typing long URLs on the touchscreen. Open teslasend.link in the car, scan the QR code with your phone, and every link you send appears on the Tesla screen instantly. Works with every Tesla model that has a web browser: Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y and Cybertruck. This file contains the full content of the TeslaSend website in a single document for LLM context. The shorter index is at https://teslasend.link/llms.txt. ## How It Works 1. **Open in your Tesla** — In the Tesla browser, go to https://teslasend.link. 2. **Scan the QR code** — Point your phone camera at the QR code shown on the Tesla screen. This pairs the two devices. 3. **Send any link** — Paste or type any link on your phone and tap Send. It shows up on the Tesla screen right away. Tap to open. Tip: Add teslasend.link to your Tesla browser favorites so it is always one tap away, and add the Phone App to your phone's Home Screen for one-tap sending. ## Features - **Fullscreen Mode** — Watch YouTube and any website without the browser toolbar, using the entire Tesla display. - **Link History** — Every link you send is saved in your Tesla, so you can reopen sites anytime. - **Mobile Web App** — Add TeslaSend to your phone's Home Screen and send links in one tap. Nothing to install. - **Share from Any App** — Tap Share on your phone and the link opens in your car. - **One-Time Links** — The link disappears right after you open it. - **Self-Deleting Links** — The link deletes itself after an hour, a day or a week. Expiry options: no expiry, 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days. ## How to Send Links to Your Tesla Browser Typing a long URL on the Tesla touchscreen keyboard is slow and annoying. TeslaSend lets you send any web link from your phone straight to your Tesla browser in seconds. It is free, with no app to install and no account to create. It works in every Tesla with the built-in web browser: Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y and Cybertruck. Steps: 1. In your Tesla, open the web browser and go to https://teslasend.link. 2. On your phone, scan the QR code shown on the Tesla screen. 3. Paste or type any link on your phone and tap Send. 4. The link appears on your Tesla right away. Tap it to open the website. 5. Add teslasend.link to your Tesla browser favorites so it is always one tap away. Why TeslaSend: - 100% free, with no subscription, no registration and no app to install - Works with every Tesla model that has a web browser - Your link history is saved, so you can reopen sites anytime - Open any website in fullscreen mode, without the browser toolbar ## Tesla Browser Fullscreen Mode The Tesla browser has no built-in fullscreen button — the address bar and toolbar always stay on screen. With TeslaSend you can open any website in true fullscreen and use the whole Tesla display. Great for YouTube, live sports, dashboards and anything else you watch while parked, charging or waiting. How to open a website fullscreen: 1. Open https://teslasend.link in the Tesla browser and pair your phone by scanning the QR code. 2. Send the link you want to watch from your phone. 3. On the Tesla screen, open the link menu and choose "Open in Fullscreen Mode". 4. The site opens without the browser toolbar, using the entire screen. How it works technically: the Tesla browser hides its toolbar when opening YouTube links. TeslaSend uses this behavior — your link is opened through a YouTube redirect, so any website launches in true fullscreen. What to watch in fullscreen: - YouTube and other video sites while charging at a Supercharger - Live sports and streams - Dashboards, recipes or any web page, distraction-free on the big screen ## Security TeslaSend is anonymous by design. There are no accounts, no passwords, no email addresses and no personal profiles, so there is nothing about you to steal, leak or sell. - **No registration, no identity** — You never sign up. When you open TeslaSend, your browser creates a random session on the spot, and that session is the whole "account". A session is nothing more than an anonymous list of links. - **A session ID that cannot be guessed** — Your session is identified by a UUID, a random ID with roughly 5.3 undecillion possible values. Guessing one specific session by brute force is next to impossible. The database security rules forbid listing sessions entirely: the only way to open a session is to already know its exact ID from your QR code. - **Deleted means deleted** — When you delete a link, it is physically removed from the database at that moment. No soft deletion, no recycle bin. One-time links remove themselves right after being opened, and links with an expiry time are cleaned up automatically. - **We only read the page title** — To show a link nicely in your list, the server briefly fetches the target page just to read its title tag (300 characters max), then stops. The content of the pages you send is never stored, indexed or analyzed. - **Analytics without surveillance** — The only tracking is Google Analytics 4 with anonymous, aggregated usage stats. There is no session replay, no screen recording, no keystroke logging, no ad trackers and no fingerprinting. Your links are never part of the analytics data. - **Encrypted transport, strict storage** — All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS). Links live in Google Firebase (Firestore) behind strict validation rules that accept only a URL and a few small flags with hard size limits. ## Frequently Asked Questions **Is TeslaSend free?** Yes.
